Doreen Mkatomboka is a Tanzanian Project professional with over four years of experience supporting regional initiatives on the rights and inclusion of persons with albinism. She currently serves as a Capacity Development Coordinator at the Africa Albinism Network (AAN), where she leads and supports program coordination, implementation, and capacity-strengthening efforts across the network.

In her role, Doreen contributes to the planning and execution of projects and convenings, supports the development of operational and strategic plans, and ensures the quality and effectiveness of program delivery. She also plays a key role in monitoring progress, supporting reporting processes, and strengthening internal systems that enable impactful engagement with partners and human rights defenders across the continent.

Curious, adaptable, and purpose-driven, Doreen is committed to advancing inclusive, people-centred approaches that strengthen capacity and drive meaningful change. In her free time, she enjoys playing board games, video games, photography, and participating in sports such as swimming and football.
